On March 18, the 3rd session of the 4th edition of the Cycle "A Theme, an Author, a Text" will take place. This initiative is organized by the Center for Philosophy and Gender (of the Portuguese Society of Philosophy) in collaboration with Praxis – Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Culture (UBI and UÉ).

In this session, we will have the pleasure of welcoming Sofia Batalha, who will discuss the text Minor Gesture by Erin Manning.

Erin Manning is a Canadian cultural theorist and political philosopher, as well as an artist in the fields of dance, textile design, and interactive installation. Her research spans the domains of art, political theory, and philosophy.  

Sofia Batalha is a writer and eco-mythic activist with a background in Design, Ecopsychology, Indigenous and Liberation Psychologies, and Applied Mythology.
