What does it mean to care for something or someone? What thoughts, practices or feelings accompany care? What is the role of care in life? Will it be a sporadic activity, or something that is at the core of human life itself? And what do we take care of or can we take care of? Is it possible to speak in the same sense of care for oneself, others, the city, the country, animals, the environment? How should we care? Is there a right way and a wrong way to do it? On the other hand, is care optional or do we have an obligation to care? And if we have this obligation, what or who should we take care of?
In partnership with PRAXIS – Center for Philosophy, Politics and Culture (University of Évora) and the Sociedade Harmonia Eborense, the project “Mapping Philosophy as a Way of Life” invites all interested parties to participate in this fourth Philosophical Conversation around the theme of Be careful, which will be attended by Irene Borges Duarte and Fernanda Henriques, and moderated by Hélder Telo.
The event is free and free entry. Everyone will be welcome!
