On June 25 and 26, 2026, the University of Beira Interior (Portugal) will host the International Conference Making Kin as a Practice of Care: Habitable Bodies or Unexpected Alliances between Ecology, Technology, and Feminism. The event is organized by Teresa Nunes, Ana Madeira and Tomás Correia.

The conference aims to foster an interdisciplinary dialogue on the possible relations, intersections, and articulations between ecology, technology, and feminism, centered on Donna Haraway’s concept of "making kin"—spanning from Classical Antiquity to the recent Digital Age.
