In the words of philosopher Paul Ricoeur, "the problem of evil is not just a speculative problem - it requires the convergence of thought, action (in the moral and political sense) and a spiritual transformation of feelings".

This reflection is part of the third episode of the Praxis in the Emergence series, in which researcher Fernanda Henriques from the University of Évora builds a bridge between Paul Ricoeur's thoughts and Pope Francis' speech on the global pandemic last March 27th.
